Some Odds and Ends

Let's begin with finding out who is as excited about Glee tonight as I am?!?!

I have literally been waiting for this episode for weeks. I rushed through all of the first season just so I would be ready. I LOVE Britney. C took me to one of her concerts last August and it was AMAZING. Glee tributes are always pretty good, so I'm definitely looking forward to this one.

I had a self appointed day off today. I was supposed to have class from 11:30 - 2:30 but when I woke up it was POURING rain. I decided I really didn't want to fight this weather to catch a bus to get to one class. So I didn't. Instead I'm having a nice day that consists of sleeping in, meeting C for lunch and catching up on the 5 million readings that I am drowning in.

I realized that when I did a post on all of my birthday presents I left out this beauty....

This is the bigger bookshelf that I desperately needed, given to me by my brother and his girlfriend. When I first saw it I was sure that I would not be able to fill it. As you can see this is not the case, and I'm probably going to need another one any time now. In any case, I absolutely love it.

The final thing I wanted to cover in this post is the way I ended my summer (I realize I'm backtracking a bit again). The last weekend of the summer, C and I went to Wonderland with some good friends of ours, A and J.

C won me a carebear, who A and I quickly decided to name grumpy bear, and from that point on Grumpy bear made an appearance in all photo's

This little girl we didn't know. She was in line in front of us with her mom and little sister. The little sister couldn't go on the ride, and the mother had to stay and the other little girl could not go without adult accompaniment, so they asked us if we would ride with her. C volunteered, introduced himself to her and then took her on the ride, making sure she had the time if her life. It's moments like this that make me fall in love with C all over again. I was watching him with this little girl, someone who he had only known 5 minutes, and she was having such a great time with him. I can definitely say I spent most of the time that they were on that ride picturing the way C will be with our own children. having a husband that loves kids just as much as I do was always a number one priority and watching C in moments like this, makes me absolutely sure that I made the right decision.
Ok, I'm done being sappy. One last picture of all four of us

It was a fun day. We went on so many rides, ate way too much food and caught up with good friends that we don't get to see all that often.

And I know I was going to end there, but I have one final thought.

We picked up our wedding rings on Sunday!!!!!! And then C took them away because he is under the impression that I may put mine on when he isn't looking (that may or may not be true).

He is also pretty adament that we keep the rings to ourselves until the actual day. SO I'm not allowed to show anyone, other than our mothers. I would post pictures on here, but because I do have some bridesmaids that read this, who cannot be trusted to close the page when they are told to (Sorry girls, but we both know you would all look and just tell me you didn't), so everyone has to suffer.

*sigh*

This is going to be a VERY long wait to see those rings!

The bookcase is awesome, I have one roughly the same size and it is PACKED. Like, my bottom shelf has a double row. I even have another case about half the size which is also stuffed. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with all those books anymore!
